Monthly subscriber churn rate for {legal_name}. EXTRACTION RULES: Cite quarterly results + industry analyst reports. PERIODICITY (MANDATORY — CLAUDE.md #2/#5): the bands are calibrated for MONTHLY churn. You MUST read the periodicity the SOURCE actually states and return the value NORMALIZED TO MONTHLY in unit:"percent_monthly". If the source reports ANNUAL churn (common for streaming / pay-TV / subscription publishers, often 25-45%/yr), convert it: monthly ≈ (1 - (1 - annual/100)^(1/12)) × 100 (use annual/12 ONLY if the source itself reports an annualized monthly average). If the disclosed periodicity is ambiguous or you cannot tell whether a figure is monthly or annual, return type="absent" reason="not_disclosed" rather than guessing — NEVER feed an annual figure into the monthly bands. Return exact_numerical{value: <monthly_pct>, unit: "percent_monthly"}. Inverted ratio_band (<0.5→95, 0.5-1→80, 1-2→60, 2-3→40, 3+→20). If no primary/reputable source publicly discloses the figure, return absent (not_disclosed) — never estimate or fabricate a number, and NEVER return 0 for a not-found value (0 monthly churn is implausible and bails).
